Company Introduction:

P2Gamer is The Gaming Freelancers online platform for players of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games to buy, sell, and trade in game currency, account, item and list their custom job to other players. P2Gamer doesn’t directly aggregate or sell game assets. Rather, P2Gamer allows third-party sellers to list items for sale. Sellers can then choose to conduct the transaction directly through the Buyer without any fees or include P2Gamer as a third party to secure the payment and assets in an escrow until delivery has been verified by the buyer, at which point the buyer’s funds are released to the seller. Using this system, which P2Gamer refers to as “Middleman,” neither buyer nor seller shares personal information, and transactions are guaranteed. P2Gamer reduces the potential risk of fraud by collecting, holding, and disbursing funds.

We are looking for an experienced developer who will lead us to the next level in software development, optimizing our existing trading programs, and writing new high-frequency trading programs to provide our customers with a better online shopping experience. You will also be responsible for developing operational applications to make our business more efficient.  Your role will be integral to our continued success and growth strategy.

Job Description:

• Examine the required functions of our products and design the software programming specifications to govern the development of the coding while using a flowchart to keep track of the progress.
• Write codes for high-frequency trading programs for desktop and mobile platforms, ensure our service features work properly, and monitor the running performance of the mobile applications.
• Provide maintenance to both desktop and mobile platform applications, while keeping the layouts and functions consistent across all channels.
• Run diagn vostic tests for our websites published on all platforms, identify technical problems or security risks, and upload quick fixes or major updates based on priorities.
• Improve codes written to reduce the system failure rate, memory usage, and network latency, as well as optimize the compression rate for files utilized.
• Review customers’ feedback regularly to learn of the latest market demands for new features or suggestions to our current services, examine the possible improvements our applications can benefit from, and post the roadmap of future updates on our website blog.
• Utilize the debugging tools to pinpoint coding errors in the front-end console and port the revamped codes through patches to the mobile versions of our site.
• Provide constant coding support and data backup for our website and applications, including preserving sequence orders, running quality assurance tests, saving visitors’ records, restoring corrupted backup files, etc.

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer scenes or related field
• At least 3 years of software developer experience
• Excellent programming languages abilities (e.g., Python, C++, Java, JQuery, MySQL, HTML) and a deep understanding of how similar languages function under the hood
• Experience working on end-to-end software projects: from architecture to implementation to documentation
• Experience in developing trading programs is a plus.
