Responsibilities
Measure, cut and install drywall sheets.
Install drywall in offices and commercial buildings.
Join drywall panels using tape and plaster.
Repair cracks and any other damage to the drywall panels.
Conceal any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surface.
Layer plaster or spackle with trowels to create a flat surface.
Sand down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.
Skim the surface with a final layer of plaster in preparation for finishing work.
Manage and maintain all the required equipment for the job.
Keep the supervisor abreast of progress and report any job-related issues.
Ensure that all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
One year of experience
Salary: $37 per hour
