Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1 year to 2 years)
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Duties:
• Install exterior prefabricated products
• Install interior prefabricated products
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair and service exterior prefabricated products
• Repair and service interior prefabricated products
• Determine layout and installation procedures
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
• Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
• Utilize hand and power tools
Credentials:
• Working at heights training
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Specialization:
• Aluminum windows and doors
• Windows
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, attention to detail, handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs), working at heights, outdoors
